Who We Are

We are a 501(c)(3) organization run by professionals who want students with few to no resources to go to college for FREE.


Our Mission:


LEGUP, Inc. exists to coach high school students and parents in financial literacy and in securing scholarships to fund a college education, creating a platform for future financial stability and wealth.

What We Do

  • Personal scholarship coaching services for high school seniors and juniors and parents, and one-on-one mentoring.


  • Four weeks of virtual instruction to teach students and parents how to find and apply for college scholarships.


  • Four free weeks of follow up with students to make sure they’re using what they’ve learned.


  • Accountability coaching to help parents motivate their high schoolers to success.


  • Financial literacy training for parents.

  • How many scholarships can I apply for?

    There are no limits, as long as you’re enrolled at a college/university.

  • Where do I begin to look for scholarships?

    Scholarship providers, corporations, local businesses, organizations, and schools.

  • How do I receive the money/award?

    Monies are normally sent directly to the school you attend or plan to attend.

  • Do I have to pay anything to get scholarships?

    No. You should never pay to apply for scholarships. Time is your investment.

  • Which is better to apply for: large scholarships or small ones?

    There’s usually more competition for large scholarship awards; several small ones will add up. So apply for them all.

  • Can I be matched with scholarships more suited for me?

    Yes, by registering with a scholarship provider.

  • How do I increase/improve my chances of winning a scholarship?

    By being selective; choosing local scholarship funders; having a family affiliation to funders.
